லைஃப் ஒஃப் பை (Life of Pi ) அசத்தல்

Life of Pi படத்தின் ரெயிலரைப்போட்டார்கள் அசந்துவிட்டேன்.பல நாட்களுக்குப்பிறகு ஏன் பல மாதங்களுக்குப்பிறகு ஒரு படத்தைப்பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வத்தை ஏற்படுத்திவிட்டது.ரெயிலரைப்பார்க்கும்போது லைப் ஒப் பை யைப்பற்றிய எந்தவிடயமும் எனக்குத்தெரியாது.

ஒஸ்கார் அவார்ட் வாங்கிய இயக்குனர் Ang Lee தான் படத்தின் இயக்குனர்.2003 இல் வெளிவந்த ஹல்க், Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (இது Academy Award for Best Foreign Language அவார்ட்டை வாங்கியது) படங்களின் இயக்குனர்தான் ஆங்க் லீ.Life of Pi 3டியில் வெளிவருகின்றதாம்.Yann Martel இன் Life of Pi  என்ற நாவலை அடிப்படையாகக்கொண்டே இப்படம் எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக ஆங்க் லீ தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.Life of Pi  என்ற நாவல் மிகப்பிரபலமான நாவல் உலகம் முழுவதும் 9மில்லியன் கொப்பிகள் விற்கப்பட்ட நாவல் அது.

இன் நாவலை வெளியிடுவதற்கு குறைந்தது 5 லண்டன் வெளியீட்டு நிறுவனங்கள் மறுப்புத்தெரிவித்தன இறுதியில்  Knopf Canada நிறுவனம் இதை வெளியிட்டது நாவல் அந்தவருடத்திற்கான புக்கர் பரிசையும் வென்றது.

 Taiwan, Canada,  India ஆகிய நாடுகளில் காட்சிகள் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.16 வயதுப்பையனான பை மிருகங்களை ஏற்றிச்செல்லும் கப்பலில் செல்கின்றான்.கப்பல் விபத்துக்குள்ளாகு மூழ்குகின்றது.அதிலிருந்து ஒரு லைப் போர்ட்டில் சிறுவன் பை தப்பிக்கின்றான்.ஆனால் லைப் போர்ட்டில்  தான் தனியாக இல்லை என்பது தெரியவருகின்றது காயமடைந்த வரிக்குதிரை,கழுதைப்புலி,உராங்குட்டான் இவற்றோடு ஒரு புலியும் இருந்துவிடுகின்றது.

இவர்களுடன் 227 நாட்கள் கடலில் சுற்றி இறுதியில் ஒரு மர்மத்தீவுக்கு வந்தடைகின்றான் பை.இப்படத்தில் பையாக நடிப்பவர் டில்லியை சேர்ந்த 17 வயதான சூரஜ் ஷர்மா.15-19 வயதுள்ள 300 சிறுவர்களை ஒத்திகைபார்த்தபின் இறுதியாக தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்டவர்தான் சூரஜ்.

இந்த படத்துக்காக, தைவான் நாட்டில் பயன்படுத்தப்படாத ஒரு விமான நிலையத்தை வாடகைக்கு எடுத்து, அதில் பசிபிக் கடல் போன்ற அரங்கை அமைத்திருந்ததாக லீ தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.படத்தில் வரும் புலி கிராபிக்ஸ் உண்மையான புலி அல்ல.முடிந்தால் கண்டுபிடியுங்கள். நாவலின் கதை விக்கியில் இருந்து

 his family decides to sell their animals and move to Canada due to political concerns in India. In the second part of the novel, Pi's family embark on a small Japanese boat to Canada carrying some of the animals from their zoo, but a few days out of port the ship meets a storm and capsizes. After the storm, Pi regains consciousness in a smalllifeboat with a Bengal tiger, a spotted hyena, an injured zebra, and an orangutan. Pi instinctively assigns each animal its own personality, based upon his own observations of the animals in his parents' zoo, and the characteristics of the people in his life.

As Pi strives to survive among the animals, the hyena is the first to succumb to hunger, and begins to eat the injured zebra alive, eventually killing it. The hyena also kills the orangutan, to Pi's distress. At this point the Bengal tiger, whom Pi has named Richard Parker, then kills and eats the hyena. Pi is left as the only other survivor. Pi finds food and water supplies on the boat, but as they grow scarce, Pi begins fishing, not only to feed himself but to ensure Richard Parker has enough to eat. Pi feeds Richard Parker so that the hungry tiger will not kill him. Pi ensures that the tiger considers Pi the alpha animal and will therefore refrain from attacking him.

தமிழ்,ஆங்கிலம்,ஹிந்தி,தெலுங்கு போன்ற மொழிகளில் வெளிவருகின்றது படம்.ஒன்னு கவனிச்சேளா? நம்ம இயக்குனர்கள் மாதிரி இந்த படத்தைதழுவியா எடுத்தீர்கள் என்று(கொப்பியடித்தீர்களா என்பதை மரியாதையாக)கேட்டால் கூட இல்லை என்று சாதிக்கும் போக்கில்லாமல் நேரே மனிதன் கூறிவிட்டார்.

படம் தமிழில் வரப்போகின்றது.பார்ப்போம் என்ன நடைபெறப்போகின்றது என்பதை? நான் மிகவும் ஆவலுடன் எதிர்பார்த்திருக்கின்றேன். படம் நாளை வெளியிடப்பட இருக்கின்றது.
